Introduction

Welcome to Prultel, the professional lighting design tool built exclusively for food photography creators. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and handle your personal data and creative content when you use our desktop, mobile, or web applications, in alignment with applicable privacy regulations.

We design our privacy practices around the core functionality of Prultel: importing your dish photos, adjusting virtual lighting setups, saving your creative work, and exporting final images. Your ownership of all your creative content is our highest priority.

What Information We Collect

We only collect data that is necessary to deliver and improve the Prultel experience, separated into two categories:

• Creative Content You Provide

  Food photos you import: By default, all dish photos you upload to Prultel are processed locally on your device only. We never transmit your original photos to our servers unless you explicitly opt in to our optional cloud backup service for your projects.

  We also store any lighting presets, custom lighting setups, saved project drafts, and exported images you choose to save either locally on your device or in your optional cloud account.

• Anonymous Usage Data

  We collect non-identifiable data about how you interact with Prultel features: for example, how often you adjust color temperature settings, which lighting templates you use most, or export resolution preferences. This data is never linked to your identity or your creative content, and is used exclusively to optimize product performance and add new features that match user needs. You can opt out of this anonymous data collection at any time in your app settings.

• Account Information (Optional)

  If you choose to create a Prultel account to sync your projects across devices, we will only collect your email address and encrypted password. We will never ask for unnecessary personal information such as your full name, address, or phone number to use core Prultel features.

How We Use Your Information

All data we access is used only for the following purposes:

• Process your imported food photos to render virtual lighting effects, highlights, shadows, and atmospheric adjustments as you edit
• Save your lighting setups, custom presets, and project drafts if you choose to store them locally or in your cloud account
• Sync your creative work across multiple devices if you have enabled cross-device sync
• Respond to your support requests, feedback, or feature suggestions you submit to our team
• Fix bugs, optimize lighting rendering algorithms, and develop new features that improve the Prultel experience for all creators
• Send you critical service updates (such as security alerts or policy changes) if you have provided an email address

Your Control Over Your Data

You retain full ownership and control over all your data in Prultel at all times:

• You can delete any imported photos, saved projects, or custom presets from your local device at any time directly in the app
• If you use the optional cloud backup service, you can request permanent deletion of all your cloud-stored content and account information at any time, with all data erased within 7 business days of your request
• You can enable or disable anonymous usage data collection in your app settings whenever you choose
• You can export all your saved projects and presets in standard file formats at no additional cost

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We have a strict no-selling policy: we will never sell, rent, or lease your personal data or creative content to any third party for any reason. We only share your data in the following very limited circumstances:

• When required by valid legal process from a competent authority, where we will take all reasonable steps to notify you in advance if permitted
• With service providers who help us deliver Prultel features (for example, cloud hosting providers for optional backup services), all of whom are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and required to meet the same privacy protection standards we follow
• When you explicitly choose to share your edited images directly to third-party social media or portfolio platforms through our built-in share feature, in which case data sharing is controlled by the third party's privacy policy

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• All locally stored content on your device is kept in encrypted app storage that is not accessible to other apps on your device
• All data transmitted between your device and our cloud servers is protected with end-to-end TLS encryption
• Cloud-stored content is encrypted at rest with AES-256 encryption
• We conduct regular security audits and update our protection measures to address new security threats

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no security system is completely impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.

Children's Privacy

Prultel is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a user under 13, we will immediately delete that data from our systems. Policy Updates

We may update this privacy policy occasionally to reflect changes to our features or legal requirements. For minor updates, we will post the revised policy on our website and in the app with a new effective date. Your continued use of Prultel after the effective date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
